Tool Book Vol.2 – Advanced Harmony

Since you know all those chord shapes you have learned in Tool Book Vol.1, it is time to learn new tricks. In Tool Book Vol.2 – Advanced Harmony, you will learn many rules and substitution possibilities:

II/V/I progressions leading to all degrees from the chord families (over 60 examples), types of musical cadences (about 40 examples), modal interchange & parallel modes explained in a very easy way, II/V/I (major) progressions (over 50 possibilities), II/V/I (minor) progressions (over 50 possibilities) and turnaround progressions (over 80 possibilities).

After that, you have a blues chapter with types of blues harmonies and many ideas of chord voicings (about 24 choruses with fretboard shapes). The following chapter entitled “Open String Chords” will blow your mind with nothing less than over 1200 chord options! The chapter named “Quartal Harmony” shows you many visualizations (over 90) and Block Chord Ideas (more than 80 examples). Finally, the “Extended II/V/I Block Chord Ideas” gives you 20 very interesting examples for major and minor II/V/I progressions.

NOTE: This is an E-Book which means that you will only be able to read it on devices such as computers, cell phones or tablets. We do not offer hard copies because we want to make a difference for the planet.

By saving a ton of paper, you can save 17 trees, 26000 liters of water, 4000 kilowatts of power supply and 240 liters of fuel.

It takes an average of 5 liters of water to produce one piece of A4 paper.

Every tree produces enough oxygen for 3 people to breathe.

93% of paper comes from trees.
